Terms of Service

DietAssure™ is a trademark of Aqualeo Digecom FZ LLC, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates ("Aqualeo Digecom FZ LLC", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the DietAssure apps or website (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

DietAssure scans food labels and meal photos and gives a per-person safe/unsafe verdict for your household, based on the diets, allergies, and ingredients to avoid you configure. Scanning runs on your device wherever possible, with AI-assisted lookups from our servers for ingredients or products it can't resolve locally.

2. Not medical advice

DietAssure is a decision-support tool, not a medical device, and does not provide medical or professional dietary advice. Verdicts are generated from label data and AI-assisted classification and can be wrong or incomplete — always check the product yourself, especially for severe or life-threatening allergies. We are not liable for a reaction, illness, or other harm resulting from reliance on a verdict shown in the app.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for activity under it. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction, or have a parent or guardian's consent, to create an account.

4. Plans, billing, and cancellation

DietAssure offers a Free plan and paid Gold and Platinum subscriptions with higher device limits and longer scan history retention. Paid plans renew automatically at the price shown at checkout until you cancel; payments are processed by Stripe and may be made by card, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay, depending on your region.

You can cancel a subscription at any time from within the app or your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don't provide refunds for partial periods except where required by law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service: no reverse-engineering the on-device classifier, no scraping or bulk-extracting our ingredient database, no interfering with the Service's operation or other users' accounts, and no uploading unlawful content.

6. Intellectual property

The DietAssure™ name and logo are trademarks of Aqualeo Digecom FZ LLC. The app, website, and underlying software, design, and ingredient database are owned by Aqualeo Digecom FZ LLC and protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own household's use — nothing here transfers ownership of the Service to you.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aqualeo Digecom FZ LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you first except where immediate action is needed to protect the Service or other users.

9. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. Where a change is material, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
